We're a Christian community focused on biblical literacy, thoughtful discussion, and spiritual growth—from curious seekers to seasoned believers.
Learn, grow, and walk with others in grace and truth.
God’s story begins with His love. He created us to know Him and share in His goodness. Even when we fall short, His love never fails.
~ "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16 ESV)
~ "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8 ESV)
The truth is, we’ve all broken God’s commands and chosen our own way. Sin separates us from Him, and we cannot fix it ourselves.
~ "As it is written: None is righteous, no, not one." (Romans 3:10 ESV)
~ "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23 ESV)
God didn’t leave us in our sin. Jesus died in our place, rose again, and offers us eternal life as a free gift; not something we earn.
~ "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23 ESV)
~ "For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, [4] that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures." (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 ESV)
~ "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, [9] not a result of works, so that no one may boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV)
God’s gift must be received. If we turn to Him, confessing our sins and believing in Jesus as Lord, He forgives and makes us new.
~ "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9 ESV)
~ "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 ESV)
~ "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20 ESV)
Becoming a Christian means repenting, turning from sin, and believing the good news. When we receive Jesus, we become God’s children.
~ "And saying, 'The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.' " (Mark 1:15 ESV)
~ "But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12 ESV)
"God, from my heart, I admit to You that I am a sinner and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Your Son, Jesus, took the punishment I deserve by shedding His blood on the cross. He gave His life as the full payment for my sins and rose again from the dead. Thank you for changing my heart. I now confess and turn from my sins and receive Your Son, Jesus, as my Savior and Lord. Amen."

Congratulations! If you are a new believer, you have just experienced the beginning of your new, eternal life (John 3:16; 10:10). Your sins have been forgiven and you have been given a fresh start (Romans 4:7). You have now been given inexpressible, glorious joy (1 Peter 1:8-9). In addition to the wonderful blessings of knowing Christ, you are probably thinking, “Now what?” Here is a guide with some tips:
We recommend that you first understand what the Bible is before you start reading it. After that, it’s recommended to start in a Gospel, like Matthew or John, to learn about Jesus’ life & teachings. There are many translations, but there is no need to worry! Learn a little bit about the different translations and pick one (popular versions are KJV, ESV, and NIV). Sample some by going to websites like BibleGateway.com or YouVersion.com . We’re not saved by which Bible translation we use, but by what Christ did for us on the cross.

Prayer is simply talking with God. There is no formal set of words that can only take place during a church service. We can/should pray throughout the day, giving thanks to God, asking Him to answer our daily needs, and praying on behalf of others. We should pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). If we desire to know God more deeply, we must communicate with Him regularly. For ideas on how to pray, you can begin with the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13).

Finding a local church can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to have it all figured out to visit! Just search “churches near me” on Google Maps, check their website, and share it here if you want advice. A healthy church will help you learn core beliefs, worship together, and grow in community. Don’t be afraid to be a visitor! You’re free to learn and grow over time; you’re not stuck where you start. Many churches will gladly help you explore faith at your own pace. Use this server to share your experiences and ask questions; we’re here for you! While you learn, it’s important to remember that we’re saved by what Jesus did on the cross, not by having every point of doctrine perfect.

Baptism symbolizes your new life in Christ and proclaims that you are now committed to Jesus. Even Jesus was baptized (Luke 3:1-22), and He calls His followers to also be baptized. Baptism was practiced by the very first followers of Jesus in Acts 2:41. A local church pastor or church leader will be glad to speak with you about baptism if you express your interest!

The Christian life is designed to be enjoyed with others, so build friendships with other Christians! The New Testament has over 50 “one another” verses that refer to loving one another, serving one another, encouraging one another, and praying for one another. Each of these commands requires relationships with other Christians. Fellowship with other believers is one of the purposes of a local church (Acts 2:42–47; Hebrews 10:24–25). Find a Bible-teaching church in your area; it’s a great place to get involved.

Becoming a Christian is not a secret; it’s a celebration! Tell all who will listen about Christ’s work in your life. In some cases, others may come to faith in Jesus just through the example you share. Right before Jesus ascended to heaven, He commanded His disciples to make disciples of all the nations (Matthew 28:18-20). Today, Christians are still called to share the hope within us with others (1 Peter 3:15-16).

Again, these are simply helpful tips on how to grow in your new faith, not a list of requirements. You have been saved by grace through faith, apart from any works of your own (Ephesians 2:8-9). God started the work in you, and He promises to finish it (Philippians 1:6). God bless you as you continue to mature in your faith! (Adapted from: https://www.gotquestions.org/new-Christian.html)

These roles aren’t ranks or titles—they’re just a way to give space for different levels of experience in the faith. Everyone is on a journey, and we grow better together when we know where we're starting from. Choose the one that fits you right now. No one assigns them to you, and you can always grow into another.
You're exploring Christianity—maybe for the first time, maybe from another faith, or maybe just unsure where you stand.
🟢 You're welcome here, without pressure to believe or perform.
🟢 Ask anything. No question is too small or too big.
🟢 This is a safe space to observe, reflect, and dialogue.
🚫 This isn’t a space to promote other religions or bash Christians/Christianity.
Just beginning your journey with Christ. You're learning the basics—how to read the Bible, what the Gospel really means, and maybe hearing some theological terms for the first time.
🟢 No pressure to know every story or doctrine.
🟢 Questions are encouraged.
🟢 You're here to explore and grow steadily.
You’ve been walking with Jesus for a while and are rooted in a tradition or denomination. You’re comfortable engaging in deeper topics like theology, doctrine, or tough faith questions.
🟢 You’re still learning—but you’ve got some experience.
🟢 You enjoy discussing ideas, not just hearing them.
🟢 You’re open to stretching and refining what you believe.
You’ve spent serious time in study, reflection, and prayer. You not only understand the deep stuff—you know how to explain it with clarity and grace.
🟢 You’re expected to engage with questions from others.
🟢 You can represent ideas fairly—even if they’re not your own.
🟢 You value wisdom, humility, and helping others grow.
🔁 These aren’t static roles—they’re living reflections of where you are right now. You’re free to move between them as you grow (found inChannels & Roles). The goal is never status—it’s depth, discipleship, and love.
Let’s grow strong in faith together. 🌾
